- What are cookies and what are they used for?
A cookie is a small text file saved locally in your browser's memory on your computer, smartphone, tablet, smartwatch, etc. for a variable period of time (from a few hours to a few years) depending on the cookies' purpose.
Session cookies, which are automatically deleted when you close your browser, can also be used, as well as permanent cookies, which are deactivated at the end of a specific period of time.

A) Based on the subject installing them on the user's device:

- When you visit our Site
When you visit our Site, the Site installs technical, analytics and profile cookies on your device. Third-party cookies are also installed, as described in paragraph 7.
For first-party cookies, Max Mara is responsible for the data collected by the cookies and for obtaining and managing user consent where required.
For third-party cookies installed on our Site, excluding profile cookies that are used for online behavioural advertising, Max Mara is required only to provide links to the privacy information and consent forms (if available) provided by the third parties. - Cookies installed by our Site
Browser technical cookies
These are necessary for our Site to function correctly, because they allow for browsing the pages, content sharing, saving of access credentials for faster access to our Site and to maintain preferences and credentials during browsing. Without these cookies, our Site would be unable to provide the services offered on our Site. These cookies also do not collect any user personal information. This is why these cookies do not require user consent.
These cookies are useful to understand a user’s preferences so we can display customized Max Mara products and services on our Site and other sites. Without these cookies, we would be unable to understand a specific user’s usage of our Site and would be unable to provide this user with customized advertisements and/or offer online services that are based on the user’s own preferences.

- Analytics Cookies – Third Party Cookies
These cookies collect data on how visitors use our Site so that the third party can assess and improve its functioning, and create content that best meets the users' needs. In this way, the party can know whether the pages load quickly and if they are displayed correctly. - Advertising Management
Max Mara wants users to have interesting and customized online experiences with Max Mara products and services. To accomplish this, Max Mara (or a third party service provider) uses the cookies on a user’s computer (that is, “profile cookies”) to trace the user’s online browsing habits and purchasing activities on our Site and other sites the user visits. These cookies collect demographic data and/or data on the pages visited, products viewed and purchases made following advertising campaigns.

What are your options
